A VIP trading account is the top of the five SelfMSF account levels, built around personal service. You trade the same six markets on the same platform as every other level. The difference is in how your account is looked after, starting with a dedicated account manager who gets to know how you trade and becomes your first contact.
VIP is available to clients who meet the applicable account requirements. Contact our team to discuss eligibility, available services and the steps involved in accessing VIP.
It depends on how you use your account. If you already have a named manager on Plus or Select, VIP adds priority handling on withdrawals and a direct VIP support line. Some clients find that useful when they’re active in several markets most weeks. If you trade now and then, Plus or Select may suit you just as well.
VIP accounts trade the same six markets as every other SelfMSF account, which are forex, stocks, crypto, indices, commodities and metals. The instruments and the platform are identical across all five levels. VIP changes the service around your account, and the markets you can reach stay the same.
A VIP account gives you more personal service and support, and it has no effect on how markets move or on the outcome of your trades. The risk in any position is the same on every account level. What VIP offers is more of our team’s time, with a manager who can explain conditions and answer account questions quickly.
Yes. You can ask your account manager to switch your account to any other level. Your positions, history and settings stay the same, and the conditions of your new account level apply once the change goes through. Your manager can talk you through what changes before you decide.
VIP accounts can have different leverage limits, up to 1:200 depending on the market. Leverage increases both gains and losses at every account level, and using more of it raises the size of the losses a price move can cause. Your account manager can explain the conditions for each market before you trade.
